Antimicrobial Devices

Medical devices made with polyisoprene and silicone rubbers used in central line therapy and catheter treatments produced with our chitosan silver additive are proven to eradicate resistant MRSA bacteria on contact. Making medical devices that have bio-active antimicrobial properties may lower healthcare acquired infections and costs significantly while reducing deaths resulting from infection.

Fabrics

Silver Shell fabric finish offers long lasting anti-microbial infection protection on privacy drapes, scrubs, masks, curtains, linens, uniforms, blankets, and air filters.

Silver Shell textile finish passed rigorous laboratory testing to ensure it does not wash out, flake or shed. Testing provided that the finish remains bio-active for the life of the textile.

The finish passed extensive testing as an EPA Category 4, the safest level possible. It does not cause skin irritation or sensitization.
